Client project
Sileby Mill Boatyard – WordPress Website
A responsive WordPress website created to present the organisation clearly, strengthen its service pages and give visitors straightforward routes to further information and enquiries.

Working with the team at Sileby Mill Boatyard, Helios Web Design developed a WordPress website to promote their business and services. The website comes with E-Commerce functionality so that if, in the future, they wish to sell their chandlery products online they will be able to.
Helios Web Design is working with Sileby Mill to improve the effectiveness of their businesses online reach. Designing a fully responsive WordPress website for their business, we also helped to select and set up a suitable hosting package, implemented effective SEO and installed user tracking analytics for the website, enabling the team at Sileby Mill to monitor the effectiveness of the website and the ROI of online marketing campaigns. The website includes a simple to use visual WYSIWYG page editor and a blog. Online tuition and assistance on how to utilise the website is included in the package.
Helios Web Design will work with Sileby Mill Boatyard & Chandlery over the coming year to analyse usage of the website, implement SEO improvements and assist in developing Social Media campaigns and analysis of their effectiveness. The total cost of this website is commercially sensitive and has been kept private. Social Media assistance and user analytics will be billed at an hourly rate. Ongoing technical support, in year 2 and subsequent years will be set at a market beating rate, if required.
* Any prices rises in subsequent years will be limited to the increase in the RPI.

Build approach
Making the website work harder for the organisation
The Sileby Mill Boatyard – WordPress Website project was planned as a practical website for a service-led organisation. Its structure is designed to explain its core offer, expertise and enquiry routes without making visitors work through dense or disconnected information.
Why the site is structured around services
Clear individual service pages give each important part of the offer a dedicated destination. This helps prospective customers move from a broad first impression to the detail they need, while giving search engines focused pages that can match more specific searches.
Each service page can support its own message, evidence and call to action. It also creates useful internal routes from the homepage, related services and future advice content, making the website easier to expand without weakening the main navigation.
Designed for clarity and future growth
The WordPress build balances straightforward content management with a responsive layout, consistent visual hierarchy and clear enquiry opportunities. The result is a site that can grow as services, examples and supporting information are added.
Helios approaches projects like this through business website design, with options for PAYG WordPress websites and ongoing WordPress support.
