Procon Engineering Process Weighing and Control Systems
Mark Hopkins from Procon Engineering has an existing website that is not responsive and performs badly in Google and Bing/Yahoo search results due to ineffective SEO. He requires an updated, fully responsive website to promote his process weighing and control systems business. Mark wants his business website to perform well organically and rank highly in Google’s organic search listings. He also wants to be able to easily modify the website himself to accommodate the businesses evolving products and services portfolio. Helios Web Design is working with Mark and a copy writer to create an engaging, easy to navigate website, based on the WordPress CMS platform that has a simple to use visual editor to make amendments, a comprehensive portfolio of products and services, a blog, automated social network sharing functionality and effective SEO.
Mark is involved throughout the design process and is able to monitor the progress of his design on a testing domain to ensure it is exactly right before the website goes live. The website is equipped with an auto posting feature that will post Mark’s blog posts and range of products and services to a number of social media platforms to improve the businesses online exposure and drive more users to the website. The WordPress platform will enable Mark to easily update the content of the website whenever he wishes, although Helios Web Design will be happy to implement changes if requested. The website will be optimised for search engines and indexed with Google, and Yahoo/Bing. Google Analytics tracking code will be included, enabling Mark to monitor the effectiveness of the website and the ROI of online marketing campaigns.
Helios Web Design will provide a cost effective hosting contract and set up business email accounts. Helios will actively manage this site, ensuring that their website, plugins and security measures are always up to date and will provide technical support and updates to content as and when required. The total cost of this website is £800 for the first year, which includes support for 12 months. Ongoing technical support, in year 2 and subsequent years will be set at a rate of £155 pa*.
* Any prices rises in subsequent years will be limited to the increase in the RPI.
