Helios Web Design initially worked with Peter Webster to create a brochure style website to promote Plastic-IT’s business providing bespoke services to the injection moulding industry. His company provides solutions and services for injection moulded plastic product manufacture through the optimisation of part design, mould tool design, prototyping, injection moulding and training.
During the coronavirus pandemic of 2020 Plastic-IT, in partnership with the Shropshire NHS, began to manufacture face shields to help UK based production efforts. Helios Web Design worked with Plastic-IT to add additional e-commerce functionality to their website enabling them to sell their UK manufactured face shields via their website.
The WordPress platform will enable Peter to easily update the content of the website whenever he wishes, although Helios Web Design will be happy to implement changes if requested. The websiteis optimised for search engines and indexed with Google, and Yahoo/Bing. Google Analytics tracking code is included, enabling Peter to monitor the effectiveness of the website and the ROI of online marketing campaigns.
Helios Web Design will actively manage this site ensuring that the website, plugins and security measures are always up to date and will provide technical support and updates to content as and when required. The total time of the website build from initial development to live deployment was 2 weeks. The total cost of this website is private at the request of the business involved.
