Working with Hawgrip Plant Centre (Leicester), Helios Web Design rapidly designed a WordPress website with an Ecwid E-commerce system for the business during the Covid-19 epidemic. Hawgrip Plant Centre had to close during the earlier lockdown of the economy so needed to move to an online retail system with a ‘click and collect’ option for their customers.
Within 3 days Helios Web Design had created a responsive WordPress website with Ecwid E-Commerce system integrated into the website and their Facebook business page. Helios helped the business set up the Ecwid system and gave tuition on how to add additional products.
Since the lockdown has ended and Hawgrip Plant Centre has opened up to the public again Helios Web Design has helped turn their E-commerce platform into and online catalogue of products and will continue to work with the business to optimise their online reach.
The WordPress platform will enable the Hawgrip team to easily update the content of the website whenever they wish, although Helios Web Design will be happy to implement changes if requested. The website has been optimised for search engines and indexed with Google, and Yahoo/Bing. Google Analytics tracking code has been included, enabling the Hawgrip team to monitor the effectiveness of the website and the ROI of online marketing campaigns.
Helios Web Design will actively manage this site ensuring that the website, plugins and security measures are always up to date and will provide technical support and updates to content as and when required. The total time of the website build from initial development to live deployment was 3 days (Expedited Development). The total cost of this website is private at the request of the business involved. Ongoing technical support, in year 2 and subsequent years will be available at a market beating rate.
