Client project
Chinthowa Development Trust
A responsive WordPress website created to present the organisation clearly, strengthen its service pages and give visitors straightforward routes to further information and enquiries.

This charitable organisation already had a website but wished to have more dynamic content to engage its supporters. Helios have worked closely with this charity to develop online fund raising opportunities, improve social media integration and provide them with a site that they can edit themselves online without any expert knowledge or special computer programs. These services have been provided free of charge as the charity does not pay any of its workers, no expenses are paid and it guarantees all money it raises goes to the people in need.
A mobile version of this site, suitable for phones and small tablets is now under development to improve the end user experience on all devices. A customer testimonial is available on the testimonials page. Click on the link below to visit the site and contact the business for a reference if required.

Build approach
Making the website work harder for the organisation
The Chinthowa Development Trust project was planned as a practical website for a service-led organisation. Its structure is designed to explain its core offer, expertise and enquiry routes without making visitors work through dense or disconnected information.
Why the site is structured around services
Clear individual service pages give each important part of the offer a dedicated destination. This helps prospective customers move from a broad first impression to the detail they need, while giving search engines focused pages that can match more specific searches.
Each service page can support its own message, evidence and call to action. It also creates useful internal routes from the homepage, related services and future advice content, making the website easier to expand without weakening the main navigation.
Designed for clarity and future growth
The WordPress build balances straightforward content management with a responsive layout, consistent visual hierarchy and clear enquiry opportunities. The result is a site that can grow as services, examples and supporting information are added.
Helios approaches projects like this through business website design, with options for PAYG WordPress websites and ongoing WordPress support.

Supporting the charity’s wider work
A charity website needs to explain both the human purpose of the organisation and the practical work being delivered. Dedicated pages for projects, updates and ways to help make that story easier to follow, while giving supporters useful destinations to share directly.
The structure also creates space for evidence of progress, photographs and future fundraising information. That balance helps the site remain clear for first-time visitors while supporting the longer-term communication needs of trustees, volunteers and donors.
