We can provide full website hosting facilities. However, as with domain names (above) we recommend that you purchase and control your own hosting plan. We are happy to recommend suitable hosting plans that are optimised for the UK market. We will even guide you through the intial setup process and then set up your hosting plan for you so that it is optimised for your website. If you already have hosting contract in place we will deploy your new website to your current provider, so long as the platform is suitable. All the hosting providers that we recommend have UK based servers that are co-located in mission critical high security data centres to ensure as near as 100% uptime as it is possible to get. Should the worst happen, we keep backup copies of your website that can be repidly deployed should the need arise.
Most hosting providers offer professional domain based email at no extra cost. We will help you set up your email accounts and guide you through how to set these up on mobile devices and computers.
Do you register domain names?
We are a full service web design company so we can do everything for you. However, we always advise businesses that they should have full control over their domain names and hosting plans. We are happy to advise and help you choose a suitable domain name and will walk you through the purchase process. We can then can set it up to point to your hosting provider.
How long will it take to design my website?
This largely depends on what is involved, as well as how soon you, as the client, are able provide us with the essential documents, such as copy and pictures. A simple brochure site can be up and running in as little as 2 days. But the development process usually takes 1 to 2 weeks of development. Your input is taken into account at all times and progress can be viewed via temporary testing servers that we set up to enable you to see how your website is progressing.
More complex projects can take longer. When we know your exact requirements, we can provide you with a realistic end date. We know that project deadlines are very important, we will always do our utmost to meet them.
